FAQ’s

  • The only color we offer is black. This is because we use a special formulation of high-temp, fire resistant silicone to pass UL- 94V0. At this time, black is the only color option. Please note that special care should be taken to follow all instructions as no silicone is fire-proof.

  • We understand that this feels a bit unorthodox, but we ask that you fill the cups using the provided dropper for two reasons. The First reason is safety. The water helps to squelch the flame and reduce the chance of the wick scorching the edge of the silicone cup.

The Second reason is that it helps with clean-up. The water helps solidify and cool the wax into a plug for easy removal and preventing a wax film inside of the cup making clean-out much faster.

  • Trimming the wicks is actually a requirement listed on the warning label of most Chanukkah candle boxes. Wick length is hard to control due to the irregular nature of candle making. Trimming the wicks helps keep the flame from becoming too unruly which could scorch the edge of the candle cups or cause a fire. Please follow this precaution and keep your menorah away from drafts which could amplify the flame.

  • While there is no official reason why it would be considered un-Kosher, we did run it by several Rabbi’s at Chabad and all of them gave us the thumbs up! Plus my Bubbie said it was, so there’s that.

  • An extra cup was included in the set in the event of loss or accidental damage.

  • As promised, all preorders are scheduled to ship to customers the first week in December which should allow 20 days of buffer before the first night of Chanukkah this year!

  • No! These cups are not designed for filling with oil. This product is designed for standard menorahs to hold traditional Chanukah candles. Oil should NEVER be used in the cups, ONLY use tap water as instructed.
